Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a Conferte account, we collect your name, email address, business information, and password. This information is necessary to provide you with our services and manage your account.

Social Media Account Data

To provide our social media management services, we access and store data from your connected social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube) including posts, comments, messages, engagement metrics, and follower information. We only access the data necessary to provide our services and as authorized by you through each platform's OAuth process.

Business Knowledge Base

For Professional and Enterprise plans, you may upload business documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT, HTML), website URLs, FAQs, product information, and company knowledge to train our AI. This information is used exclusively to personalize AI responses for your brand and is never shared with other users.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you use our platform, including features accessed, posts scheduled, messages sent, analytics viewed, team member activities, and performance metrics. This helps us improve our services and provide better insights.

Device and Technical Information

We collect IP addresses, browser type and version, device information, operating system, time zone settings, and cookie data to ensure platform security and optimize performance.

How We Use Your Information

Service Delivery

We use your information to provide core services including scheduling and publishing posts, managing social media engagements, providing AI-powered content suggestions, analyzing performance metrics, and facilitating team collaboration.

AI Training and Personalization

Your business knowledge base and interaction data train our AI models to provide brand-specific responses, content recommendations, and engagement automation. AI models are isolated per account and never learn from other users' data.

Analytics and Insights

We process your social media data to generate performance analytics, competitor benchmarking, sentiment analysis, predictive insights, and custom reports as part of our service offerings.

Platform Improvement

Aggregated and anonymized usage data helps us improve features, identify bugs, optimize performance, develop new capabilities, and enhance user experience.

Communication

We use your contact information to send service updates, security alerts, feature announcements, billing notifications, and respond to support requests. You can control marketing communication preferences in your account settings.

Data Security

Encryption

All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Social media access tokens are stored in encrypted vaults with additional security layers.

Access Controls

We implement role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, regular access audits, and principle of least privilege to ensure only authorized personnel can access your data.

Infrastructure Security

Our platform runs on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with regular security updates, automated vulnerability scanning, DDoS protection, and 24/7 monitoring.

Compliance

Enterprise customers benefit from SOC 2 Type II compliance, GDPR compliance, HIPAA-ready infrastructure (with BAA), and regular third-party security audits.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

Social Media Platforms

We interact with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and YouTube APIs to provide our services. Each platform has its own privacy policy and data practices.

Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party providers for cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, customer support tools, and analytics services. All providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

Team Members

If you add team members to your account, they will have access to account data based on their assigned role (Admin, Manager, or Contributor). You control team member permissions.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, prevent fraud, or comply with legal processes. We will notify you unless legally prohibited.

What We DON'T Do

We never sell your personal data, share your business knowledge base with other users, use your content to train public AI models, or display targeted advertising based on your data.
